O “Saturday Night Live” está agitando as coisas para sua histórica 50ª temporada… já que dois membros do elenco deixaram oficialmente o programa de esquetes da NBC.
Molly Kearney foram às redes sociais na sexta-feira para anunciar sua saída do ‘SNL’, após entrarem no programa em 2022. Não está claro se Molly — que foi o primeiro membro não binário do elenco — deixou o programa por conta própria… mas a declaração deles indicou que eles podem não ter sido convidados a voltar.

Ainda assim, Molly manteve as coisas positivas para sua despedida, pois eles chamaram o show de “um sonho que se tornou realidade” e deixaram claro que estavam gratos pela oportunidade. Eles também gritaram para os colegas de elenco Marcelo Hernández, Devon Walker e Michael Longfellowque eles chamavam de “equipe do dia 1”.
O anúncio de Molly ocorre um dia depois Punkie Johnson confirmou sua saída do ‘SNL’ … depois de compartilhar a notícia em seu show de 31 de julho no Union Hall do Brooklyn.

Segundo Punkie, sua quarta temporada no ‘SNL’ seria a última… embora ela tenha garantido aos seus seguidores que “não havia ressentimentos” em relação à sua saída.
“Saturday Night Live” costuma fazer anúncios de elenco em setembro… pouco antes da estreia da nova temporada. No entanto, Maia Rudolph já foi confirmada como ex-aluna de retorno, já que ela está pronta para reprisar seu Kamala Harris impressão em meio à eleição presidencial de 2024.
A 50ª temporada vai estrear em 28 de setembro, mas o apresentador e o convidado musical ainda não foram anunciados. Certamente há mais novidades por vir… então, fiquem ligados!!!
